Tritones represents the coming together of three voices, presented here with the combination of three vocal ensembles: SingWest, HarmoniX Vocal Company and DynamiX Vocal Company. Located in Melbourne, Australia, this group of choirs regularly perform together at major community events, most often accompanying the Western Region Concert Band. Tritones will be undertaking a tour to China in April, 2026.

SingWest is a mixed-voice acapella choir. Their objective is to provide the opportunity for people to celebrate the joy of music by performing exciting and challenging songs for the wider community while developing a distinctive sound.

HarmoniX Vocal Company are a group of male singers who have formed in brotherhood to foster amongst themselves and their audiences the joy of singing. They aim to entertain by bringing music and song to the local community, especially to those in aged care facilities and retirement villages, as well as to the broader community.

DynamiX Vocal Company is a community-based mixed vocal ensemble that was established to give its members the opportunity to express themselves through their love of music. They have developed an excellent range of repertoire as they continue to delve into the joy of working together to produce great harmonies.

The group’s music style is very eclectic, featuring everything from the golden oldies and the doo-wop era through to musicals, as well as modern pop songs.

All three ensembles are under the music direction of Andrew Houston OAM, who is passionate about community music and developing the best sound from our members.
